Larry Norman once sang: “Why should the devil have all the good music?”. We want provide and answer to that question on November 19th 2017, because the symphonic female fronted metal band Veritas Infinita will provide a special performance in our church “De Cirkel”. Besides a heavy sound, with a music style like the mainstream band Within Temptation, this band also has an important message. The central theme of this eventing is “Stand up and fight”.
The Bible is very clear about this, as a believer you do not need to take a lot of effort to compete with evil. Jesus did this for us on the cross and resurrected from the dead more than two decades ago. He has overcome!
Nevertheless you can still find struggle in your life, even when being a Christian. Sometimes life feels like a battle with questions like: Is it all true? What does it matter?
The Bible shows us that this battle is real and that God provides us armor /weapons to stand in the battle. God loves us and longs for us to stand positively and firmly in life.
But what do we need to accomplish that?
